About TU

Tiffin's History

Tiffin University (TU) was founded in 1888 and offers accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration, criminal justice, social sciences, creative and media arts, humanities, education, sciences, technology, and health.

TU has an excellent reputation, various strong academic programs, caring faculty with professional experience, friendly staff members, and a kind environment – where our students come first. Our degree programs are designed to assist students in achieving their full potential after graduation.

Opportunities lead to results, and our faculty, staff, and students are the community that makes this happen.

The University’s campus in Tiffin, Ohio, blends traditional historic and modern buildings, creating a vibrant and welcoming educational community for its students, faculty, and staff.

Tiffin University has had an active campus in Bucharest, Romania, for nearly 25 years. With over 600 alumni and nearly 175 students enrolled, the University runs EMBA, BBA and BS programs.

Tiffin University provides a comprehensive college experience inside and outside the classroom. Students learn from expert faculty who serve as mentors and advisers, helping with course selection, internships, and career opportunities with corporations and entrepreneurial companies.

Our diverse student body includes over 400 international students from 31 countries, fostering meaningful, lifelong connections. Diversity is celebrated through campus events featuring food, arts, and entertainment.

Academic achievement is crucial at Tiffin. We believe in earning a degree through effort and linking theory to practice via experiential learning. We expect more from our students, encouraging them to expect more from themselves.
