By uniquely combining her education and experience in corporate leadership and the humanities, Professor Molly Meadows provides students with insight into communication theory and practice as it pertains to moving forward as intercultural competent leaders. Professor Meadows is a source of knowledge in semiotics, the theories of communication, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Intercultural Competence.
Dr. Molly Meadows is an educator with over 15 years of experience in finance, corporate communication, and leadership. She specializes in semiotics, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, developing interculturally competence teams, and various forms of writing and interpretation. Her research delves into the perception and awareness of intercultural competence as it pertains to communication choices in leadership with hopes to assist corporate DEI programming, and corporate hiring.
Dr. Meadows currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States with her family where she is an adjunct professor of Personal Finance, Business English, and Leadership. Prior to entering higher education, Dr. Meadows worked in corporate banking, most notably serving in private banking and investments for the mass affluent population. The combination of relationship-building and sales skills ultimately led her to train others in leadership skills to earn trust, maximize productivity, and drive employee motivation to garner positive results.
