Anytime is the right time to learn new things, be creative, innovate and experiment in order to
evolve, both professionally and personally. I believe in the inner strength and professional
capacity of women in Romania, and I am convinced that they have a significant contribution to
make to the sustainable development of the society we live in.
I have a degree in both communication and public relations and in legal sciences, with
specializations in civil and business law, and I have expertise as a project manager, public
procurement, trainer, combined arts, and personal development counseling. The Covid 19
pandemic represented a historic period socially and economically, a time of reflection and
introspection that generated directive changes and behavioral transformations.
During this period, I completed several specialization and refresher courses, experiences that
culminated in my decision to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration. I felt that
everything I had learned and experienced professionally up to that point was no longer sufficient
to face the market’s challenges and deal effectively with new business opportunities.
I considered it necessary to study and better understand the American business culture, which
is why I looked for a university in the United States of America and the fact that I could follow
the courses in Romania with American professors was the main element that made me choose
Tiffin University.
I graduated in 2023 from the EMBA program at Tiffin University which, for me, was an amazing
experience, totally different from any academic training I had previously had. The concept of
“learning by doing” at the core of this Master’s in Business Administration is an effective
teaching method that successfully blends theoretical information with practical aspects and
gives each student the opportunity to immediately apply and understand what is being taught.
The teamwork with colleagues in the cohort and professionals active in different industries
generated an exchange of experiences and numerous debates on current topics in the context
of the multiple crises we are going through, and these were the best moments to analyze the
approach of the business environment compared to the academic world perspective.
From my experience with foreign investors, both European and North American, I have learned
how important it is to understand the business culture, local customs and particularities behavior
to generate effective communication and successful collaboration. The EMBA program came
with several confirmations, allowed me to accumulate more knowledge about other cultures,
and gave me new business perspectives.
