Dr. Millar has joined Tiffin University for more than 30 years and, during all this time, has been activated in various management functions, among which Dean of the Business School, President for Academic Affairs (elected twice in this position), and Faculty Dean. Dr. Millar is among the counselors of K Circle, a leadership organization. In international management, he has written study texts, papers, and presentations, acted as a consultant, and participated in many seminars and discussions.

He has been active in many professional organizations, such as the Midwest Business Association, Institute for Business Management and Technology, and European Council for Business Education (an international accreditation body for Tiffin Business School), where he had the positions of consultant and member of the management board, and Accreditation council for schools and business programs (within which Tiffin University is an accredited member), where he was consultant-evaluator president of Global Business Education, marketing president and president for Great Lakes region.

Dr. Millar has also been part of the Bachelor Council, and of the Graduated Commissioners Council for ACBSP (The American Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.
